FAQ
Frequently asked
Do you have wheelchair-accessible vehicles?
Yes — we have wheelchair-accessible vehicles in the fleet. Mention it when you book and we'll send the right car for the passenger. Folding wheelchairs and walking frames also fit in the boot of our standard cars.
Do you charge for waiting time?
We do run a waiting service for a small charge — useful while an appointment, scan or discharge is still going on. We'll tell you the charge before we confirm the booking, so there are no surprises.
Will the driver help my relative into the car?
Yes. Our drivers are happy to offer an arm, steady a walking frame, and make sure passengers are settled before setting off. Just let us know the level of help needed when you book.
Can our care home set up an account?
Yes — we set up billing accounts for care homes and other regular customers, so appointments can be booked as needed and invoiced rather than paid trip by trip. All drivers are DBS checked and safeguarding trained.
Can you wait and bring the patient home afterwards?
Absolutely. We can wait at the hospital for a small charge or arrange a return pickup time. Many families book both legs together so there's one less thing to worry about.
Do you cover Oxford and Warwick hospitals?
Yes — we regularly take patients to the John Radcliffe in Oxford, Warwick Hospital, the Horton General in Banbury and other local clinics.
Can a family member travel in the car too?
Of course. There's room for a passenger to accompany the patient at no extra charge on most local journeys.
What if the appointment runs late?
We monitor the time and stay in touch. If plans change, just call or WhatsApp and we'll adjust the pickup.
How do I book a hospital transfer?
Call 07361 559430, WhatsApp us, or use the online booking form. We'll confirm the pickup time, location and any mobility needs.
